Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention to the present. When your mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings from a distance, you let them drift in and out without judging them and pay particular attention to thoughts/sounds/sensations of the body and breathing before bringing attention back when the mind starts to wander.

Mindfulness means truly living in the moment, and it seems more and more of us are taking the time to allow ourselves this experience and truly live in the ‘now’.
